2009 GCSE Results

Best-ever GCSE results for Tanbridge House School, with 77 per cent of students achieving at least five A*-C grades.

Headteacher Jules White said: “These wonderful GCSE results for Tanbridge House School reflect the hard work of our students and staff.  They also underline our commitment to providing every student with a relevant curriculum, high quality teaching and rigorous support to ensure that every student achieves their personal best.

 

To achieve record breaking results for the second successive year shows how much Tanbridge House School has improved.

 

I congratulate all our students who have worked so hard to achieve these results and thank our staff for their dedication.  My particular thanks go to Lorna Pinington (Leader of Year) and her team of tutors."

Among particular success at Tanbridge House School, there were individual highlights for Year 9 student, Kieran Carter who gained an A* in his GCSE Music exam and top Year 11 student Sarah King, who gained 9 A* and 2 A’s.

Congratulations also go to Mark Chesters, Camilla Miles and Ben Jesty for their outstanding achievements.
