Student Voice

At Tanbridge House School we feel it is important to listen to students. Student Voice is made up of a number of different groups and, together, these groups give our students a voice.

Every student is invited to be part of Student Voice and the different student bodies cover many aspects of school life inside and outside of the classroom. We are always prepared to listen to ideas and suggestions which will help make Tanbridge House School an even better place for our students.

Student Voice have recently launched a brand new blog for students - take a look at www.tanbridgehousestudentblog.com

Student Voice consists of the following groups:

Rights, Respect, Responsibilities Group - this group looks at behaviour and citizenship issues around the school and is also leading on the move towards gaining accreditation as a Level 2 Rights, Respecting School (see our RRR webpage for more information).

Eco - Representatives - Consider various environmental issues in our school and wider scale. This body is presently working with our partner school in Masaba, Kenya.

Student Board - This group represents the student body on a range of activities including Teaching & Learning, staff interviews and gathering student views. In addition, Student Board works on promoting community ideas which help the local area.

Charity Representatives - Charity Representatives work with each year group in supporting various fundraising ideas on a local, national and international level. Over the last two years we have raised over £20,000 as a school.

Senior Prefect Team - These students are the “senior student leads” for the various student bodies above and include the Head Boy and Girl as well as Senior Prefect for Sport, The Arts, The Specialisms and the Headteacher’s Ambassadors.
