Beatlemania spreads through Tanbridge House School thanks to the Brighton Centre
On Tuesday 9 March, the brand new ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Show’ is coming to the Brighton Centre and with its backing from the Beatles Day Foundation, who improve the health and wellbeing of young people, they have given away 100 FREE tickets to the students at Tanbridge House School in Horsham.
The free tickets were handed out to students deserving an award for their high achievements within the performing arts and music departments. Jules White, the Head Teacher at Tanbridge House School commented: “We are extremely grateful to be given such an incredible opportunity by the Brighton Centre. We always strive to reward our students for their hard work and the tickets to see ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Show’ offers a fantastic chance for our performing arts and music students to learn more about the Beatles music and the bands history.”
The show itself features some of the best musicians from the Fab Four’s home city of Liverpool, and is backed by a spellbinding new light show, original big screen animations and a host of fun surprises for Beatles fans old and new. Following the performance of the Sgt Pepper album in its entirety will be an hour of Beatles classics live so it will really give the students an incredible insight into one of the world’s most famous bands.
