Tanbridge House School is quite literally
the business!
On Friday 29 January the library at Tanbridge House School in Horsham, West Sussex was transformed into a world of business as the school hosted their second Business Breakfast Meeting.
The morning was incredibly well supported with over 45 local businesses and community representatives attending to discuss ways of supporting local trade in the county as well as how local businesses can benefit by working in partnership with the school.
Chief Executive of Horsham District Council, Tom Crowley was on hand to explain the council’s new development plan, ‘All our Futures’, whilst Peter Sutton, Managing Director of local media agency PMW Communications gave a presentation on the businesses advantages Tanbridge House School can bring for companies.
Two confident students at Tanbridge, Jodie Rushin and Amy Carr then took to the floor to explain the incredible work experience they had thanks to the Ambassadors Programme. The concept of the Ambassadors programme, which was set up by PMW Communications and Tanbridge School over two years ago, is to broaden students’ minds by giving them insights into a wide range of careers that will help them make important career choices in the future.
Head teacher of Tanbridge House School, Jules White, commented: “We are delighted with the success of our second Business Breakfast meeting. It was wonderful to see so many different companies from the local community supporting the school. We are looking forward to seeing lots of new faces at our third meeting later in the year.”
