Tanbridge celebrates student successes
Tanbridge House School has been celebrating the achievements of its students through its annual Celebration Assemblies, which took place between 26 June and 6 July.
Each Year group joins together once a year for a special Celebration Assembly and individual students are presented with awards for their achievements - these include awards for the most improved and highest achiever in each subject as well as additional awards such as sports colours.
Parents of award winners are invited in to attend the celebrations, which also include musical performances from students and a run down of the highlights of the year.
Each Leader of Year also awards a special prize to the one or two students who they feel deserve recognition - this could be because they have made large improvements in their work over the year, demonstrate a positive attitude each day or perhaps work through tough times at home.
This year a special Headteacher's Award has also been introduced, with Mr White choosing one or two students who, again, deserve a special recognition.
