Jules White, Headteacher of Tanbridge House School was delighted to welcome Francis Maude, MP for Horsham, on Friday 16th May.
Mr White, who was appointed Headteacher of Tanbridge House School in January 2008, discussed new school initiatives with Francis Maude and his vision to make Tanbridge an outstanding school and one the whole community can be actively involved in.
As well as significant investment in ICT and a state of the art ‘Virtual Learning Environment’ new plans for the school also involve the wider community being able to access the facilities at Tanbridge through adult and family learning activities.
A group of students representing the school’s Student Voice and Year 7 student Luke Polie, recently voted onto the UK Youth Parliament, had the opportunity to meet Francis Maude and to discuss the new exciting developments and positive changes which have taken place at Tanbridge since Mr White’s arrival in January.
