Healthy School Status
Tanbridge House School is delighted to have gained Healthy Schools Status.
The award presented by Maggie South (West Sussex Healthy Schools Co-ordinator) indicates the commitment the school, staff and students have towards enhancing the health, emotional well-being and personal development of their communities.
The award not only focuses on the importance of Healthy Eating but also includes work delivered in PSHE programmes and support from counsellors and nurses within Tanbridge House School.
The Tanbridge House School Eco group, School Council and Student Voice contribute to the schools environment and personal development. The extensive extra curricular activities and in school Physical Education lessons provide fitness opportunities for all students and the importance of a healthier lifestyle.
