New students get a taste of Tanbridge
Year 6 students who will be starting at Tanbridge House School in September 2012 visited on Thursday 5th July for their Induction Day, which gives them their first taste of life at their new school.
The students attended a special welcome assembly and spent time with their new Tutors and Tutor Group as well as attending four lessons, in order to prepare them for their learning at Tanbridge.
Mr White, Headteacher, said: "Our Induction Days are always a great success. Some of the students are quite nervous when they arrive in the morning but by the end of the day, their confidence has grown and everyone can't wait to start in September!"
Parents also attended a special "Meet the Tutor" Evening after the Induction Day, to receive information about starting school in September and meet their child's new tutor. This gives parents the opportunity to ask any questions and makes sure parents feel they know everything they need to before the next step in their child's education.
We look forward to welcoming all of our new students again in September!
