Making music in Belgium
Young musicians from Tanbridge House School will be touring in Europe this summer. The Youth Orchestras of Horsham and Crawley have been given the opportunity to unite as one combined orchestra for the tour concerts.
Seven Year 9 and Year 10 students from Tanbridge, who play with the Northern Area Music Centre Youth Orchestra, will be performing with the Youth Orchestra in Bruges, Ghent and at the impressive Brussels Cathedral.
Mrs James, Leader of Performing Arts, said “The students are very excited about performing in Europe this summer. It’s a great opportunity for them to showcase their playing skills. I am extremely proud of the incredibly high performance standards that these musical ambassadors of Tanbridge House School have achieved within the orchestra.”
The tour takes place from 23rd to 27th July 2010.
