Students to their bit to help in Pakistan
Students at Tanbridge House School have been showing their charitable side by donating hundreds of items to victims of the Pakistan floods.
Year 7 students competed between tutor groups to see who could donate the most items, with Mrs Johnson’s tutor group 7JJO coming out on top, donating over 100 items between them.
Leader of Year 7, Mrs Price, said: “Year 7 really embraced the Pakistan appeal and have shown what a generous and thoughtful group of students they are. They have donated hundreds of essential items as well as sending pictures and messages of good will. We’re really proud of them for going way above and beyond what we initially asked of them.”
486 items were donated in total and will be shipped to Pakistan via Pakistan International Airlines, who are currently adding boxes of donations to their planes and flying them out.
