Jules White - Headteacher
I have been in post as Headteacher of Tanbridge House School since January 2008. I am very proud of the significant progress that we have been making since this point and believe that we have improved dramatically both in terms of academic and community standards.
In 2000 I worked as an Educational Consultant in Brighton and then moved to an Assistant Headteacher post at Durrington High School. Prior to my appointment here I was sole Deputy Headteacher at Worthing High School and saw standards at the school rise dramatically over a three year period between 2004 to the end of 2007.
I gained an upper 2nd class degree at the University of Essex, in Politics with subsidiaries in Economics and Sociology.
I have lived with my long suffering partner, Sam for 15 years and take all the credit for having two beautiful daughters called Eva and Alice. My interests mainly centre around sport and I have a particular passion for darts!

Since September 2008 I have held the post as Assistant Headteacher (ICT and Data Developments). During this time I overseen vast investment in ICT; whole school Wi-Fi, tablet integration, remote desktop working and updating each classroom with appropriate technologies. My underlying aim with any ICT development and is to enhance students’ learning by allowing them to engage in exciting new technologies and to support colleagues through effective ICT training. I am very passionate about how new technology is evolving. The key is to ensure that we (educationalists) use it effectively now and for the future.
In 1999 I left my London school and was promoted to East Brighton College of Media Arts (Comart) as ICT Coordinator. During my time there I was promoted to Assistant Headteacher: Curriculum Manager. From September 2005 I worked at Worthing High School as Learning Director: Assessment and Reporting, in addition to overseeing the whole school ICT.
I am married and have two sons. My main interest is sport, particularly running, cycling and swimming. However with two young children, finding the time to beat my PBs is getting harder!
-
Anna Zazzaro – Assistant Headteacher
I have been at Tanbridge House school since 1983, and suffice to say that I have seen very many changes and developments to the school over the years. I have held a variety of different roles ranging from Head of PSHE and Careers, Head of House, and Leader of Year which culminated in my appointment to Senior Assistant HeadTeacher in 2002.
My vision for education is that students are enthused by learning, that we nurture high ambitions for all, and provide a platform for them not only to be academically successful, but citizens who can take ownership of their learning and want to make meaningful contributions to the school and the wider community. Tanbridge House School is an excellent place where this happens. I am also passionate about students Emotional Health and well being and believe happy students are at the core of a successful school.
I am privileged to have been part of a team that has seen the school develop from Good to Outstanding and look forward to achieving continuous success at Tanbridge.

Adrian Dunkley - Assistant Headteacher
I joined the Senior Management Team at Tanbridge House in January 2010 as an Assistant Headteacher. I work mainly with the Maths department to raise standards across all levels in this challenging subject. Numeracy across the curriculum falls also within my remit and I work closely with all departments to raise the profile and ability levels in this most fundamental of areas. I also ensure that our Gifted and Talented provision is fit for purpose. I believe in hard work and fair play and delight in the success that this brings.
I began teaching in 1986 at St. Andrew's School in Worthing and until joining THS I continued to work in Worthing. This included 7 years as Head of Year and KS3 co-ordinator at Durrington High School and 4 years as Head of a very successful maths department at Worthing High School. These two key positions afforded me a balanced perspective of how to attain high academic success coupled with student well-being.
In a nice twist of fate I have returned to Horsham where I grew up before leaving Collyers and gaining an upper second class honours degree from Exeter University in Maths and PE. In my spare time I've been known to swim, play golf, cycle and play cricket.

I also lead and oversee the school on its out-of-school-hours-learning provision, ensuring the school is an accessible centre for all aspects of learning by students, parents, local businesses and other members of the local community.
I began teaching in 1993 at Therfield School, Leatherhead, as a PE Teacher and gained promotion to Leader of PE at the Ashcombe School, Dorking in 1999. My heart lies in this field and am always keen to reminisce about London 2012!
