Spring Concert

The audiences who joined Tanbridge House School for their Spring Concerts on 24th & 25th April to hear the school choirs, orchestras and bands which had been practising throughout last term enjoyed a wonderful mix of solo, orchestra and band pieces, as well as performances by smaller groups such as the Brass and Jazz Ensembles.

Over one hundred students representing every Year group in the school were involved in the concert.  The students participated with enthusiasm and enjoyment.  Items ranged from a medley number from Oliver, through to a memorable performance of Bohemian Rhapsody sung by the Senior Choir and an energetic rendition of Tequila performed by the Junior Orchestra.

There were some excellent Year 11 soloist performances from Ryan Hume – trombone, Peter Halton – saxophone, Caitlin Smith and Lorna Nye vocals.   The Music Department would like to thank all the performers, the audience and everyone who helped in any way to make the concerts so successful.
