Student Voice

At Tanbridge House School we feel it is important to listen to students. Student Voice is our way of giving our students a voice.

Every student is invited to be part of Student Voice and the different student bodies cover many aspects of school life in and outside of the classroom. We, students and staff, are always prepared to listen to ideas and suggestions which will help make Tanbridge House School an even better place for its students.

Student Voice consists of the following student bodies:

RRR Group - Rights, Respect, Responsibilities - this looks at behaviour and citizenship issues around the school.

Specialist Schools Group - Involves students in promoting the work of our specialist subjects of Science, Maths and ICT

Eco -Representatives - Consider various environmental issues in our school and wider scale. This body is presently working with our partner school in Masaba, Kenya.

Student Board - Discusses day-to-day issues with the students as well as promoting community ideas, which help the local area.

Charity Representatives - This body works with each year group in supporting various fundraising ideas on a local, national and international level. Over the last two years we have raised over £20,000 as a school.

Senior Prefect Team - These students are the “senior student leads” for the various student bodies above and include the Head Boy and Girl as well as Senior Prefect for Sport, The Arts, The Specialisms and the Headteacher’s Ambassadors.
