Tanbridge scoops 1st & 2nd prize in language competition
A Year 9 team consisting of Ross Williamson, Anna Sowerby, Megan Holms, Will Jones and Danni Bourne claimed first place in the annual Horsham Town Twinning Association’s Language Competition against other local secondary schools. They won with their video on leisure activities, shot on location around Horsham.
Second place also went to a team representing Tanbridge House School, comprising of Rachael Knowles, Ami Reed, Craig Buckthorp, Jasmine Clarke, Felix Close and Sam Garside.
The winning team received a Silver Salver in the Council Chambers at the end of June, reclaiming the prize won by Tanbridge students in 2007 and 2008.
The MFL department would like to congratulate all of the talented youngsters who represented the school so successfully this year.
