Children get a taste of life at Tanbridge
Tanbridge House School in Horsham recently welcomed Year 6 students from local Primary Schools and their parents to experience an evening of ‘taster’ Science, Maths and ICT lessons.
Tanbridge has been running these sessions for the past three years as part of its commitment to the Specialist Schools Programme and they have proven extremely popular. This year, over 160 parents, along with their children, learnt how to create their own animations and investigated chemical reactions.
The feedback, as always, was fantastic with parents stating:
“It was lovely to see the ‘hands-on’ approach to teaching”
“My daughter really enjoyed the session and couldn’t stop talking about it on the way home”
Students remarked: “I really, really want to go to Tanbridge”
“I learnt that maths can be fun!”
