Tanbridge House School is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school with specialist provision in ICT/Computing, Maths and Science. Following our Ofsted inspection in November 2012 and due to school expansion, we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to work in an “Outstanding” department in an “Outstanding” school.

In August 2017 our mathematics results were outstanding, 83% of our students gaining 4+, 68% at 5+ and 30% achieving 7+. Our Progress8 score of 0.33 was also outstanding. Mathematics is taught in a suite of 11 fully resourced classrooms all with Smartboards and new AQA text materials in each and two discrete ICT areas attached.
Students in Y7 follow a Mastery and Numeracy curriculum with White Rose and the Sussex Hub being of significant input. Students in Y8 will follow this through next year. KS4 students follow the AQA GCSE specification starting in Y9. Some students also opt for the AQA Statistics course and go on to study the OCR Free Standing Maths Qualification in Y11.
