Clubs & Enrichment
Enrichment is an essential part of our curriculum and your child’s education. We believe that every student should participate in memorable and enriching experiences that broaden what they learn in the classroom.
Extra-curricular activities provide students with an opportunity to explore new interests, develop high levels of skill in existing interests and, most importantly, have fun and enjoy themselves!
Our Enrichment Charter
At Tanbridge House School, we want every student to:
- Participate in a school club
- Learn a new skill
- Help raise money for our nominated charities
- Be captivated by live sport, music or theatre
- Talk to, and be inspired by, representatives from industry, commercial enterprises and further education
- Make links between subjects through participation in cross-curricular days
- Contribute and feel part of their school community through participation in student voice
- Demonstrate care and kindness towards others through peer mentoring, school prefects and links with primary schools
- Show resilience in taking on a new challenge
- Be inspired by external speakers
Clubs and Fixtures
We offer a large range of clubs and activities for our students including sports clubs, music lessons and clubs, Duke of Edinburgh, clubs linked to specific hobbies and interests, homework clubs and much more.
More information about enrichment, and details of clubs and upcoming fixtures can be found on our Enrichment webpage
Enrichment: Year 7 Activity Day
In the first few weeks of term, we run the Year 7 Activity Day. All Year 7 students enjoy a day off timetable taking part in this annual team building event. Our new Year 7s spend a whole day out on the field taking part in a range of fun problem solving activities, run by The Problem Solving Company.
Taking part in these challenges in their Tutor Groups, with support from their Tutors, helps the groups get to know each other better so they can form bonds and friendships to last throughout their time together at Tanbridge.
