Welcome to Tanbridge House School

Welcome from Mr Sheridan

I am delighted to be welcoming our class of 2030 to Tanbridge House School, and to our wonderful school community.

As your child's new Headteacher from September 2025, it is my job to ensure that they thrive over the next five years and that our school continues to be a place where learning and personal development go hand in hand, and where your child can truly become the best that they can be.

You will notice that I talk a lot about our core values of Care, Kindness and Achievement. However these are what makes our school so fantastic and inspiring and I hope that you and your child will embrace these values fully too. They underpin all that we do here at THS.

For now, please do take a look through this information portal to ensure you are prepared for your start with us in September.

Welcome to Tanbridge House School!

Welcome from Ms Walker

Welcome Year 6 families!

I’m Ms Walker, your child’s new Leader of Year, and I’m so excited to be working with you and your child as they start their journey with us.

As Leader of Year, my role is to make sure that their time at Tanbridge House School helps them become the very best version of themselves. I’ll be with the year group throughout their five years here, and together we’ll support them in making great academic progress, growing into kind and positive members of our school community, and most importantly, feeling safe, happy, and valued at school.

I am supported by Mr Fowle, Deputy Leader of Year; Mrs Henderson, Assistant Leader of Year; Mrs Price, Senior Link, and our fantastic team of tutors — we’ll all be working closely with you to help your child settle in and thrive.

My goal is to help every student become the best they can be — not just academically, but by encouraging them to try new things, take part in extracurricular activities, and discover their own strengths and passions. I truly believe in our core values of care and kindness, and these will be at the heart of everything we do in Year 7.

I can’t wait to meet the students — whether that’s during my visits to their primary schools, on our Induction Day in July, or when they officially join us in September. I’m really looking forward to working together with you to make these next five years happy, successful, and memorable!
