Induction Day - outline of the day
The purpose of Induction Day is to show students what life at Tanbridge House School is like and to make the transfer to secondary school as easy as possible.
On arrival, prefects and senior staff will be stationed at all entrances in order to to direct students to the Main Hall- you will not need to escort your child to the hall.
Students will have all lessons in their new Tutor Groups and staff and student prefects will be on hand before school, between lessons and at break times to help and direct the year 6s as needed.

Tutors will bring their groups to the school driveway. Collection by parents.
Students should wear their primary school uniform (not THS uniform) and bring the following items with them on Induction Day:
- pens, pencils, coloured pencils
- ruler
- pencil case
- school bag
- packed lunch and drink or cash for Canteen
Eating Arrangements
On Induction Day, our Canteen and outside courtyard will be set aside for Year 6 students only (eating is not allowed in any other parts if the school).
Students can bring a packed lunch or buy food and drink in the Canteen.
Packed Lunches
Please do not bring food containing nuts to school. This is due to a number of children with nut allergies.
Canteen
Students will need to bring cash (approx. £4 in small change only please) if they plan to purchase food from the canteen on Induction Day.
