Allsorts Youth Project Deliver Supportive Workshops

As part of their ongoing PSHE programme, Year 10 students took part in an inspiring workshop led by Ben from the Allsorts Youth Project, focusing on how to be a supportive ally to the LGBTQ+ community.

During the session, students revisited key terms relating to gender identity and sexual orientation, explored the challenges and prejudice still faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, and discussed practical ways to show support and inclusion in everyday life.

The workshop encouraged open and respectful discussion, with many students asking thought-provoking questions and showing a genuine interest in understanding how they can make a positive difference.

It was a powerful and engaging session that highlighted the importance of empathy, respect, and allyship within the Tanbridge House School community.
