Art Scholars Create Remembrance Artwork

Students recently took part in a watercolour calligraphy workshop, combining Art and English to create beautiful and meaningful pieces. Students explored war poetry for inspiration and produced stunning calligraphy artwork that will be crafted into poppy petals for a special Remembrance display in the LRC this November.

The workshop was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on themes of remembrance while developing artistic and literary skills. The finished poppy installation will serve as a thoughtful tribute to those who served and a showcase of students’ creativity and compassion.
