Christmas Market Trips

Year 8 and Year 11 students had the incredible opportunity to visit Lille Christmas Markets this December as part of our enrichment offering.

Taking place over two separate trips, students spent their days in France browsing the Christmas Market, enjoying lunch in a local restaurant and visiting a traditional chocolate shop too. 

Mrs Swann, who led the trip, said: “It was wonderful to visit Lille at this time of year. Particular highlights included seeing the lights of the Big Wheel and the picturesque stalls at the market. On top of this, students really tried hard to practise their French, which was wonderful. A fantastic time was had by all!”
