Create the Future Careers Day – Year 7

Year 7 students took part in a highly successful Create the Future Careers Day in December , which proved to be an inspiring and engaging experience for everyone involved.

Working in tutor groups throughout the day, students were challenged to design, develop and pitch an original project, building key skills such as teamwork, creativity and communication.

A total of 12 impressive product concepts were created and pitched to our judges, who were thoroughly impressed by the quality and originality of every idea. From these, six teams were shortlisted to present their pitches to the whole year group and a panel of external employer judges.

Congratulations go to 7ABA, whose innovative “Robopets” concept (AI-powered pets designed for students with allergies) was the overall winner. Throughout the day, students were fully engaged, enthusiastic and impeccably behaved, making the event a real success. Well done to all of Year 7 for such a positive and productive day.
