Performing Arts Students Take Centre Stage at Chichester Festival Theatre

Year 10 and 11 Drama and Performing Arts students had the fantastic opportunity to visit the renowned Chichester Festival Theatre in October in a trip designed to bring classroom learning to life.

During the visit students took part in hands-on workshops that allowed them to explore different aspects of performance and stagecraft, as well as an insightful Q&A session with theatre professionals who shared their experiences from the world of theatre.

The highlight of the day was a brilliant matinee performance of Lord of the Flies, which left students both moved and inspired by the power of live performance.

Mrs Lacey, Teacher of Drama/Performing Arts, said: “Opportunities like these help our students develop confidence, creativity, and collaboration—skills that are at the heart of Performing Arts at Tanbridge House School. As always, our students represented THS brilliantly and were praised for their enthusiasm and exemplary behaviour. Well done!”

A huge thank you to Chichester Festival Theatre for such a memorable experience.
