Sports Round Up - w/b 14 November

Our sporting stars had another brilliant week last week, displaying fantastic skill, teamwork and resilience as always:

Football:

The U12 Girls Football team made it through to the quarter finals of the County cup, following a 5-0 win against Seaford Head.

Congratulations to Team Captain Maya who has just been selected to represent Sussex as part of the U12 Sussex Schools FA Girls squad. She has also been selected for the Brighton & Hove Albion FC emerging talent centre!

The U16 Girls Football team are also through to the quarter finals thanks to a 2-0 win against Worthing High.

The Y8 Boys Football team (pictured) narrowly missed out on making it through to the next round of the National Cup, with a last minute 2-3 defeat against the current champions, Patch School.

Handball:

The U13 Boys Handball team (pictured) lost 10-17 against Christs College on Wednesday, but played brilliantly in what was the first competitive match for a lot of the players

Rugby:

The Y9 Boys Rugby team won their friendly against The Weald on Thursday
