Students Step Up for Sponsored Walk 2025

On Monday 21 July staff and students laced up their walking shoes and came together for our bi-annual Sponsored Walk. Despite the British summer, students and staff set off in high spirits, following a scenic route through footpaths and bridleways to the Downs Link and Slinfold before returning to school in the afternoon.

The Sponsored Walk is a key part of our charity fundraising programme, and our aim this year was to raise £10,000, with funds going to a range of local charities that make a real difference. Thanks to the incredible effort of our students and their families we are well on our way to reaching that target.

Mr Sheridan, Headteacher, said: “It was fantastic to see such a strong sense of community spirit throughout the day. Every student who was able to take part did so with enthusiasm and determination, showing both resilience and camaraderie on the 9 mile route. We are immensely proud of them all.”
