Students excel in Bebras Competition

Our Computer Science students competed again in the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge this year and achieved our best results yet!

Year 9 students achieved an average score of 94.3 compared to a national average of 63.8, while Year 10 and Year 11 scored an average of 74.6 compared to 73.2 nationally.

Special shout out to Rhys in Year 11 who achieved the best score in West Sussex and top 100 in the UK (out of almost 38,413 students in his age band).

We also have the most students we have ever had achieve a top 10% score in the country - 30 students! These students will go through to the Oxford University Computing Challenge in January.
