THS raises incredible amount for Christmas Jumper Day
We are thrilled to announce that our annual Christmas Jumper Day has raised over £3,000 for Save the Children, thanks to the generosity of our school community including students, their families, and staff!
Doing things a little differently this year, students were challenged to raised £1,500 for Save the Children - if the target was met, they would be able to wear festive non uniform on the last day of term; joining staff who annually bring out their festive finery to compete for a range of awards including best in show, most creative, and best team effort.
Mr Sheridan , Headteacher, said: "We are blown away by the support that our community has shown for this fantastic charity. We challenged every student to try and donate just £1, to collectively make a difference this festive season. Our community has really got behind the challenge and has been incredibly generous too. Well done and thank you to everyone who has supported us this year."
Staff winners this year were (pictured below):
- Most creative: Mrs 'Candy Cane' Groves
- Best team effort: Inclusion
- Best in show: Mrs Wlodarska aka The Grinch
