Our Tanbridge SCITT teacher trainees have successfully completed their first term with us and are now well on the way to completing their PGCE and gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The trainees have spent four days a week in our partner host schools across Sussex, building their actual teaching hours. On Fridays, trainees have come together at Tanbridge House to cover the theoretical side of how to teach!

Rebecca Harry -SCITT hub lead- said: "One term in and it is amazing to see how far our first cohort of trainees have already come in their teaching. It's exciting to know that we have such dedicated new teachers about to take the profession by storm!"
