Work Experience 2025

Year 10 students have been gaining experience of the working world with the return of Work Experience at THS this half term.

287 students undertook placements in companies and organisations across the UK, while a further 8 students attended our own virtual work experience programme in school.

Placements occurred in 223 different locations/places of work, including those as far away as Cornwall and the West Midlands.

Mr Dimond, Work Experience Coordinator, said: “Work Experience was a huge success! The feedback from both employers and students has been extremely positive. Students were an absolute credit to themselves and the school. 

Several employers have already been in touch to express interest in working with us again next year, which is a real testament to the way students approached the experience creating a legacy for future year groups."

Work experience took place from Wednesday 30 April to Friday 2 May.
