Year 8 Students Discover the Magic of Storytelling at Warner Bros. Studio Tour
Our Year 8 English students stepped into the enchanting world of Harry Potter this week during an unforgettable visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London.
The day began with a creative writing workshop, where students explored how imagination and descriptive language can bring stories and characters to life. Guided by professional educators, they experimented with character development and descriptive language—all inspired by Harry Potter's magical universe.
Following the workshop, students embarked on the studio tour, where they were able to see costumes, sets, props, and more from the actual Harry Potter films. Walking through sets including the Great Hall (adorned with pumpkins for Halloween), the Forbidden Forest and Diagon Alley, there was no shortage of inspiration for budding writers and film fans alike.
The experience sparked curiosity, encouraged creativity, and reminded students of the power of creativity and storytelling. It was truly a day filled with inspiration—and just a touch of witchcraft and wizardry!
