At Tanbridge House we have invested in a service called Schoolcomms which enables us to send letters and messages direct to you via email and text. This service has proved to be very popular with our parents and works effectively – especially when we need to get important messages out to you, for example, to keep parents informed of sudden closures due to bad weather etc.
How to ensure you receive School Comms emails
All new parents are automatically registered to receive School Comms with the email address provided on your data collection sheet. To make sure our records are up to date, please ensure that you provide the school with an up to date email address that is regularly monitored, as well as your mobile number. By default, messages are only sent out to Contact 1 (as provided on your data collection sheet). If you wish messages to go to Contact 2 as well please email email@example.com.
Our school messages will show as coming from Tanbridge House School. Please make sure you check your Spam/Junk folder regularly just in case messages go there. If this is the case, please add our School Comms email address to your email address book (or approved sender list) in order to prevent future messages being blocked by your Spam/Junk filters.
We also use the ‘School Gateway’ App which is currently available to parents with Apple and Android devices. Instructions for how to download and use this app can be found in our School Gateway App Instructions.
If you have any problems receiving electronic communication from us, or require further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
