T Levels
Introduced in 2020, T-Levels are an alternative to A-Levels and allow students to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for a particular job field. T-levels are a 2-year qualification and equivalent to taking 3 A-Levels; they can be a steppingstone to university, but most people will undertake a T-Level as a pathway to skilled employment.
The T-Level is made up of 80% classroom learning, which includes the core components of the subject along with a specialism, and 20% industry placement, which is found for you by the college/sixth form and allows you to gain valuable workplace experience.
The T-Level subjects you can take are listed below and can be studied at local colleges and sixth forms including The Chichester College Group, East Surrey College, Plumpton, and Collyer’s. Please refer to the college websites for the T-Levels offered.
