Information Evenings

Each year group will hold an Information Evening which takes place towards the start of the academic year. These are designed to give parents/carers an idea of what to expect over the coming year.

Parents’ Evenings

Parents’ Evenings provide an opportunity for you to speak to your child’s teachers about their progress and future targets. Parents’ Evenings take place in the Sports Hall.

The school uses Bromcom to manage appointments. Details of how to book appointments will be sent to families near the time of your child(ren)’s Parents' Evening.

Growing Your Teenager

This free course is run by Horsham District Council and aims to help you to understand some of the challenges the teenage years present.

Gain useful tips and ideas on topics such as understanding the teenage brain, self-esteem, online safety and much more.

The three course sessions will be held at THS throughout July and September.  Confirmation of dates and details of how to register will be sent out nearer the time.

Celebration Assemblies

Towards the end of each academic year we hold a Celebration Assembly for each year group. This is a chance for us to celebrate students’ achievements and hand out prizes to those who have achieved or improved significantly over the year.

Parents/Carers of prize winners are invited to attend these events, which typically take place in the afternoon. Unfortunately, due to the size of our year groups, we are unable to invite families from the entire year group.

Concerts, Performances and School Productions

Throughout the school year there are many opportunities for you to attend concerts, dance shows, gymnastics showcases and our annual school production which usually takes place in the Summer at The Capitol in Horsham.

Families will be made aware of dates and booking procedures in advance of these events.
