Rights Respecting School Award

Back in 2010, Tanbridge House School gained Level 1 accreditation as a Rights Respecting School (RRSA). The award, run by UNICEF, “recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of a school's planning, policies, practice and ethos”.

Tanbridge House School was awarded the Level 2 Rights Respecting Schools Award by Unicef UK in September 2015. Read our Level 2 Report from Unicef, below.

The Level 2 Award is awarded for three years before renewal is required. We continue to be influenced by the principles of the Unicef Rights Respecting Schools Award, and our commitment to promoting children's rights, the importance of mutual respect and the responsibilities that go alongside this remains unchanged within our school. We have worked hard over many years to establish an exceptionally kind and caring community at Tanbridge House and the driving principles behind this continue to underpin all that we do.
