Horsham MP Jeremy Quin took time out of his busy schedule on Friday 18 January to talk to some of our students.
Following a meeting with Mr White, Mr Quin spent time with Student Voice representatives and members of the Eco Schools Committee in the LRC, to discuss a number of projects that students have been working on.
In particular, students talked to Mr Quin about their work around diversity and equalities - two areas that the school is focussing on over the next few years. Students talked about work that they, and the school, are already doing to support each other and ensure that we help everyone to feel comfortable and accepted at Tanbridge House School.
Members of the Eco Schools committee talked to Mr Quin about a number of projects that they have been involved in to help the school become more environmetally friendly.
Although his time was limited, Mr Quin listened to the students and discussed a number of ideas and projects with them. They look forward to updating him further when he next visits.
